Odilon JIM was bred in Mexico at Hacienda Santa
Lucia, the ranch of prestigious breeder, Federico
Jimenez (JIM) Saenz and was imported to the
United States by Gremlan Farms.
Odilon represents some of the finest bloodlines of
the breed. His sire, the peerless Indiano XVIII, is a
two-time Spanish National Champion, a Grand
National Champion of Mexico, and a best
movement champion in the United States. His
dam’s sire is Jerez, one of the highest ranked
horses in the Spanish Book of Merits (LIMPRE).
Odilon has substantial bone, is straight moving,
and has superb gaits. He was scheduled to return
to competition at 3rd Level with USDF Gold
Medalist, Megan Georges, in 2007, but he suffered
an injury while at home for breeding. He is now
sound, and I am hopeful that he will return to the
show ring in the near future.

In 2005, Odilon was the personal mount of Sabine Schut-Kery for exhibitions at Dressage at Devon and at the Southwest Dressage Championships. Sabine is one of the top dressage riders and trainers in the United States, and she has summed up Odilon as a performance horse in one word—“awesome.” 2009 Breeding Fees Odilon is offered for breeding to a limited number of outside mares.
