2005 Dressage at Devon
Odilon performed in exhibitions at the prestigious Dressage at Devon Horse Show, in Devon, Pennsylvania September 30 – October 2, 2005. Dressage at Devon, now in its 31st year, is an international caliber dressage show and is the highest rated one outside of Europe.
Odilon, ridden by Sabine Schut-Kery (sabineschut.com), performed in a quadrille composed of four black Friesan stallions and four grey Iberian horses. In the quadrille, the eight horses executed patterned movements set to music. Sabine Schut-Kery , one of the top dressage trainers and riders in the United States, specializes in Baroque horses, which include the Friesan, the Pure Spanish Horse, the Lusitano, and the Lippanzer.
In a second exhibition, Odilon was paired with his half- brother, Brioso Salto, a six-year old Pure Spanish stallion owned by Karen and Dale Chilson of Los Fresnos, TX. Both stallions are sons of Spanish and Mexican Grand National Champion, Indiano XVIII.
